hockley91
Is there a way to select a group of mesh vertices that are at different elevations and then push a button and they are all then placed at a "Z" elevation height that is selected? This is driving me crazy. I have a site model and I want all the perimeter vertices to be at the same elevation so i don't have to pick each one and do it. Thanks! BrianKitts
- apply an edit poly modifier - select your specific verts - click the Z button next to "make planer" - move the selection to proper elevation
Stephen Thomas
Yup, first select all the vertices (either individually or for the perimiter select the border and covert to verts for quickness) then click the non-uniform scale button on the top toolbar. Now simply drag down in the z-direction until all verts are at the same height then move to the desired height.
Stephen Thomas
Okay, Brian wins! Can't believe I never noticed that wee button before. Mine will still work for splines too though.
