rookie
I just want to know your Ideas and soloutions for this problem: some times you need to delete or trim the objects which are behind other objects especialy on sections(for example when there's a coloumn on a section drawing, nothing should be seen through it),I don't want to do this cause I'll have problems when the design changes. (I think every one has faced this problem.) what I do is to make solid hatch with a for example color 254 on the surface and then when I want to plot the drawing I'll adjust the color to white, but there are difficulties with this, I should change the display order of the hatch every time I open the drawing! let me know if you have better soloutions Rookie [ March 03, 2003, 01:22 PM: Message edited by: rookie ]
John Dollus
Are you using Architectural Desktop? If so, you can create sections that will fillin objects for you. It works like the slice modifier from Max/Viz
rookie
yeah I'm usin ADT but I didn't mean exactly sections. I haven't drawn in 3d,it's just in 2d drawing that I want to hide objects. regards Rookie
Fernando Lino
the solution is...go to Express tools>draw>wipeout Draw a polyline..select it and that it!! and make sure that the object is on front with _draworder
