MarkRyan
Hello, I am in need of some help. I have 2 slabs drawn, both being components of a flower bed. I was wondering how I would go about slicing off the top section above the line while still keeping the bottom section intact. I have left a link of the right side of the slab with the accompanying line. Thanks in advance. http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s29/goleafss_2007/slab.png
1d2d3d4d
if these are 3d solids... I would.. 1.)use the UNION command to make all the objects one solid... 2.) go to the right viewport and make a polygon/box/closed polyline using your green slice line as the bottom line. 3.) Use EXTRUDE on your new polyline an extrude it the size of the slabs.. 4.) go to the top viewport to make sure it's covering that you want to cut. 5.) use SUBTRACT, select the slabs, then select the object you just created... should cut it right off and leave you with a super clean, sharp, 3d solid.. .
