amer abidi
I keep seeing these (some fabulous) models done on Poser, all clothed up, brushed hair...accessorized..etc... and was wondering how viable it was as a secondary software for producing people for Archvis renders. Is it easy to use? Compatible with Max? Easily animate-able? Ive never used it but am curious, So any insight would be valuable at the moment. tcupp
I used it a few years ago...not much since. It is very animatable and with a few free plugs you can even do animations with speech fairly easily. That was the coolest thing I did with it. In terms of rendering, it is also fairly easy. Models are animated out in Poser, exported in OBJ format and imported into Max with their plugin. It was fairly straightforward.
francosd
Hi' Im Using Poser An Poser Pro Can Export Direct To Max , No Problem Check This, The Girl Is Made In Poser
mahorela
The most difficult thing about it is poly count. Poser is good for a few high res people in the foreground but they don't res down well. If you need to use more than 5-10 people scenes get very heavy, fast. amer abidi
Thanks Fellas, Im definitely curious. Franco, you say you can Export to max with Poser Pro, while their website says its integrated into max. Can you please shed more light on this for me? BVI
Poser people always look so...posed. But I do believe that the MUDBOX and ZBRUSH crowd like it for their base models.
