brg
Does anybody know how to program an intellimouse to be able to zoom by rolling the middle button and to pan by pressing it down and moving the mouse? Thanks, Brian
CHE
brg, It all depends in what version of AutoCAD you are using. I can recall having this same problem under AutoCAD 14. But anyway, I think you should try the following: Download and install the latest IM software at: www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouse/download.asp Go to Control panel then Mouse. In "Mouse property" window under the "Buttons" tab go to settings. There you would be able to add your software, (in this case AutoCAD) and then costumize the buttons for it. AutoCAD should pick up the new settings. In AutoCAD go to options, then under the "preferences" tab make sure you have checked the box "windows standard accelerator keys". That should do it. Let me know if it worked out well.
Kerry Thompson
Hi Brg Also, make sure the AutoCAD system variable MBUTTONPAN is set to 1. The value is stored in the registry so will apply to all drawings on your system. Regards Kerry
