Tommy L
What are you using for lighting, just Vray sun/sky? What method of GI? If the GI is not on then the sky will not light anything.
amer abidi
Initially i thought it was an animated variable too. Does it fade in Gradually from frame 100-120?! or in sudden steps around frames 116-120 (Quoting your example)?

Ixtabyss
Hi! I'm having an exactly same problem. Did someone solve this issue? I've tried using other light sources beside vray sun and still the same issue. Also! This only happens if the object have any kind of vray material. please help! I even tried making a totaly fresh new scene. I just put a torus going up and down. No special light no nothing...pushed the render button and it just got darker and darker. It happens to still objects to. The only thing it doesn't affect is the background. Edited January 18, 2010 by Ixtabyss
