Mapping or Texture Problem?

Hey Guys i have recently started to learn about materials and mapping and i came across this problem:

When i test mapped (using UVW mapping mod) a rough paint texture onto a 2mX3mXH: 0.2m box (serves as a wall or floor).

At first when i fit the texture it looked too big so i adjusted the length and width (i also used the gizmo) but after rendering i noticed perhaps the seam/boundary/edge of the texture map are visibly dividing the whole surface of the box. Could the problem be somewhere in my settings or is it just the texture's problem?

I have posted the image of my test render view, a top view, and the UVW settings, please advice thank you.

Hey thanks for the reply, so my problem was in texture in the first place, so i just edit the existing texture in PS, btw what do you mean by "paste" the texture onto the model instead?

How do i make sure when editing the texture in PS that it will definetly fit on a 2mx3m wall or floor when mapped without the need to adjust the sizing or gizmo? if u could refer me to a tutorial that teaches how to edit the existing texture into a seamless one i would appreciate it. Thanks again.
