Francois Yenny
Hello everyone, Sadly I can't get by on rendered images alone, and I often have to draw up working drawings for clients. This entails adding dimension lines, a task which, compared to the streamlined 3d functions of ADT 2004 still seems to be stuck in the stone age. Two things are particularly slowing my workflow: When adding an exterior dimension line to a wall, I can't get it to attach to the sides of my window openings, instead, it measures the window width, disregarding my wall extremities (I hope that makes sense, it's hard to describe verbally). Is there anyway to dimension the exterior opening of a wall and not just the width of the window? The wall thickness dimensions are always in the width of the wall where they're rendered more or less legible (usually less) my the wall'a hatch patern. Is there any way of having them automatically offset to one side or another of the wall. Thanks for any tips, François Yenny
