Well, I need your help with the follow: currently I am translating an interview with a japanese architect called Toyo Ito, but in order to translate well I want you read the follow extract and tell me where I have to correct.

 

"When I was young,about 1976, I used to discuss with a philosopher called Kojitaki. My style of architecture was evolving during the time I spent discussing with Kojitaki.

He normally examined and discussed my style of architecture. However, lately that kind of discussion disappeared. In fact, in my environment that kind of discussion disappeared and, moreover, nobody is present to review it. But among the architects I know, there are those who gives amusing talks about architecture and discuss interesting theories. One of them is Riken Yamamoto, and in the case of young architects, Fujimoto Sosuke, Tsukamoto Yoshiharu and Hirata Akihisa, even I know little about the last one.

My style of architecture have been exposed to the influence of three architects while I was thinking about it. The first one is Shinohara Kazuo, the other one is Kiyonori Kikutake and the other is….

Now looking back, I think Kiyonori Kikutake was the one who most influenced me: from his teachings I have learnt to think the architecture as a whole one.

The other two architects made me aware of the problem of consider the architecture from its theories and the issues of abstract and possibility. At the beginning, Kasuo Shinohara tried to experiment an abstract architecture that its tendency is to remove or eliminate many kinds of elements. This tendency is still continued among young architects. "

Reason i ask is because at present it seems like a literal "word for word" translation, losing much of its meaning and preseneting very very bad grammer and composition; so you either have to consider another career, or find a better webpage translation engine!
