chow choppe
hi i am using a vray sphere light for an exterior scene Also working in LWF . my shadows from that vray sphere are very dull i want to increase the contrast of shadows to make them more darker towards black. Any ideas? or using a shadow pass is the only way to improve those? thanks Edited December 15, 2009 by 3dsmaxed

Stephen Thomas
Lower the intensity of your environment light. The shadow doesn't come from your direct light, the shadows are just areas illuminated by only the skylight and receiving no direct light.
