sygboe
Hi, i'm a max user trying to learn c4d. i have a spotlight i'd like to create many copies of, and share the same settings (much like instancing in 3d studio max). i've tried the cloner and instane object, but the instance object only seems to create one instance. can anyone help me please? i want to have rows of spotlights all with same settings. adjust one and they all change the same:)

Frosty
You found the easy way to do it. One feature that C4D is in sore need of is a parametric grid array similar to the circular array. It should array objects along the X, Y and Z axis with independent spacing and object count on each axis. I know there was a free plugin to do this years ago on version 6 or 7.
