markf
This Motherboard has been recommended to me. It looks like it should fill my needs but I have a question, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131347 The specs list memory standard - DDR2 1200(O.C)/1066. Would the DDR2 667MHz RAM I have work in this board? Thanks for any help.
kippu
i am sure yes , ddr2 1200 would probably mean the highest speeds that it can take , i suppose
Slinger
Ram is so cheap these days pick you up some 1066mhz when you order the board.
markf
Thank you for your replies. I have confirmed that the slower speed RAM will work. I know RAM is cheap but to get 8 gigs of reliable 1066 RAM would add another $240 or so to the $380 I'm already, unexpectedly, having to spend (Case, PSU, CPU cooler and MB). The RAM I have seemed to work well so....
