STRAT
actually creating the floor plans? thats a massive task to tackle. you really are better off reading all the tuts you can i'm afraid. we can certainly help you out and advise, but it helps 100% if you have atleast a basic understanding of what ur doing. sounds like ur at the bottom step of the learning ladder. Kerry Thompson
Hi The display representation is the tool used to control the visibility of the various ADT objects. Each object has a graphical definition the corresponds to each display rep. These display reps also control which view is shown show at various projections. The top view will show a plan representation of the objects but viewing the same objects in an isometric will show the model representation (3D). Typically, the Plan 1-100 or (medium detail display rep in ADT4) will show a floor plan representation using simple geometry - using the Plan 1-50 display rep will show more detail of the same model. (e.g. door jambs etc.). So the plan is in there - just use the appropriate glasses (display rep). Kerry Thompson
