amer abidi
Had a some free time on my hand this morning, so was just experimenting with some misc details here and there and so happened to stumble upon the "reference thickness" variable is the Solid Glass ProMaterial. What gives? Is it asking for the literal thickness of the object it's applied to? wouldn't find much to read on it anywhere.
pfbreton
if you happen to have measurement information on a real piece of glass, this is where you type this in. For example, one can have a piece of glass of 5mm thick with a transmissivity of 90%. In order to correctly attenuate light, both the total transmissivity and distance at which this occurs is needed. amer abidi
..but being a "solid" glass material, one would expect it to do it automatically depending on the density of the object (and distance between entry and exit normal), no? (thanks for the reply though)
