onyx grass not showing in creation program

I have tried Onyx grass and flowers in their creation programs but only see a wire bounding box. I have looked for a graphics switching control but can't find one. Does anyone know what I am missing?

could be you don't have the buttons pressed at the bottom left, but more likely (because these programs work differently than Tree/Bamboo/Palm in this way) you haven't started designated the existence, or size of the plant elements on the right. Which you need to do before they'll show.
