LongMozart
I have been watching your works since I started doing real-time graphics and I always admire their quality very much. Keep up the good work! Your shaders are really impressive. I have not seen many artists who create their own shaders. I am using Esperient Creator too. I wonder if you can show me how to create a dynamic daylight system in Creator?
Dave Buchhofer
I hear you Long, I consider myself a fairly technical sort of artist and still find shaders a little daunting most of the time!
RTshaders
Thanks for your kind words. EC didn't have self dynamic daylight system so those sort of effects need custom shaders to ahcieve. I am still improving...... Dave Buchhofer
Looking good, you're doing cubemap lookup for the ambient colors? if so are you updating the cube for the new lighting conditions at the same time you're adjusting the skydome shader? I've been working a little more with shaders now recently, it adds up pretty quick! Seems pretty easy to build up small test scenes, but so far doesn't scale up that well in real production systems. I'm definitely getting better with it though! cubemap=awesome for so many things
RTshaders
Basically,I take the Nvidia resource as reference to develop my own "cubemap IBL" algorithm.
