Stephen Thomas
Happy new year! I decided to dig out my pano head and give it a try over the holidays as it had been sitting in the cupboard for months. This shot is a crop from a 12 image stitch taken under the Kingston Bridge in my hometown of Glasgow. Final image size was 34 Megapixels! I shot bracketed exposures and used Photomatix to do the tonemapping to bring out detail in the underside of the bridge.
AJLynn
My favorite photo shop took the long weekend off so I just got my film from Miami back. I was walking back from lunch up the middle-of-nowhere part of Collins (or was it Washington...) and there was this set of commemorative plaques for WW2 victory gardens and for the Air Corps people who were posted in Miami Beach, where my grandfather was. I photographed them with my XD11 and Vivitar 28-90/2.8 S1 (tip of the week: if you use a manual focus SLR, you need this lens) on Ektar 100.
