mareck82
HI everybody, 1) After re-importing a FBX file from Revit to M.Studio all the Materials of the Multimaterial Objects are renamed automatically - and I have to reassign them all over again - How can stop Maxwell renaiming them every time I refresh my project? ALSO: 2) The imported FBX file has a wrong unit scale in M.Studio - The objects are 3 times bigger than in Revit - even if the units in Revit are set correctly to meters (import in 3d max works correctly!)- There is no adjustment to set the scale manually like for DXF!? 3) If instead of FBX I import a DXF file from Revit to Studio, the multimaterial Objects (windows rtc.) are just blocks and I can only assign 1 Material for the whole Objekt? I searched the whole net and tried everything within Revit and M.Studio for a week now but I see no solution for a good direct workflow between Revit and M.Studio for the moment Thanks a lot in advance PS.: I don't want to use the 3d max plugin
Macer
Can't help you with the maxwell stuff, but I know that Revit exports FBX in imperial units no matter what units you have set in Revit. Just rescale once you are in your next software package. Hope this helps?
