Dave Buchhofer
I Figured I'd get a jump on you guys this week! Here's a lunchtime HDR of an old turn of the century elevator, came out a lot noisier than i was hoping, but it has a cool feel to it, even though I botched the composition, i liked it.. the 10mm thing is taking a little getting used to! fullsize
AJLynn
So that's just in somebody's office suite? Cool. BTW, you have a D90, right? To decrease noise in situations like that, turn off Active D Lighting - it underexposes the image then pumps up the shadows, amplifying the noise like Eminem when he simplifies the rhyme. (Yes, I really am that white.) It snowed on Saturday and I took these at night. Still having fun with the Lensbaby.
Dave Buchhofer
Good point actually, I'd forgotten that i had turned D-Lighting on on the walk down (It was a VERY sunny/contrasty day) as it does come in handy outside in lunchtime sun! Its actually in a local store/market/deli in "Olde city" philly, I've been going there for years occasionally and just today noticed this big old school lift thats been converted into a "fruit alcove" for lack of a better term. I like shot #1!
Stephen Thomas
Nice shots as always guys! Old tollbooth building near where I live with some recently renovated flats behind.
