i made a material with an opacity map. in the materialeditor slot i see how the opacitymap affects the material, but not in the viewport.

first when i render i see how the material works with uvw mapping on an object. is there a possibility to see this also in the viewport`?

is that what vray-rt makes?

thanks for the reply hughie. do you mean the "show map in viewport" button?

i can`t find yours. anyway the "show map in viewport" button was checked.

in the meanwhile i got the info that vraymaterials do not support viewport opacity. with vray-rt this can be solved.
