Brian Cassil
I'm not sure when this first started (I think max 2009), but it's been bothering me for some time. Let's say I have my viewports set up as Top, Left, Front, and Perspective. In the good ol days I could work in the Perspective viewport while it was maximized and hit T for top and it would switch me to the Top viewport that I already had set up. Now, instead of switching me to that viewport it changes my Perspective viewport to be an additional Top viewport. I searched the forums to see if this had been addressed in the past and found this thread http://forums.cgarchitect.com/32568-viewports-switching-view-max-2009-a.html and tried renaming AutoCamMax.gup to disable it but I'm still having the same problem. I'm using 2010 and I have sp1 installed. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Guest vincentvincent
No, you are not the only one, I, too, feel your pain. And, for me, this only started in 3ds max 2010. Edited January 18, 2010 by vincentvincent
