zulks
Hey all, I'm working on an interior of an ERJ-190. I can finally post some things that aren't protected by NDAs. Right off the bat, I can see that I'm going to have to probably remodel the seat cushion that I got from the engineers, its looking a bit too stiff. I did a bit of post in PS. I also ran these on a lower setting, so there's a bit of blotchyness on the bins. Please comment! Edited January 20, 2010 by zulks
Ricardo Eloy
Hi, Greg! I agree with you about the cushion. They look really stiff and redoing them in 3ds could really make them. I also think you can improve the materials. The fabric does not look like fabric (or is it leather?), and the plastics can use some glossiness. Cheers! ihabkal
leather won't last long in an airplane, lots of people rubbing their butts in it.
zulks
They actually don't use real leather. It's called "ultraleather" and it lasts longer than cloth and passes the FAA burn requirements (don't want your butt on fire!) Maybe the leather texture is too small?
