Options Rendering

Hi a client has asked me to produce a 360 exterior rendering, which will essentially update with different user choices of materials. So, the user can select different type of roof coverings and wall covering independantly. Much like the page on my website http://www.virtual-living.co.uk/selfbuild.htm but a bit more intelligent, and as a 360 spin around, with multiple user configurations.

I'm thinking I could use a quicktime pano to do the spinning round, but is there an easier, or another way of producing the interactive layers/choices?

If I had to ditch the 360 aspect, and just have a still image, presumably I could someohow get an multilayered file to give to the web developer with the material choices assigned to html links or something like that?

Hope you get what I mean.
