luckyluc
Hello Xitij, What is you current graphiccard? You don't need a quadro for 3dsmax or vray, a ati gamercard(HD 5770 maybe) or a Nvidea Geforce gamercard( GeForce 250 GTS 1024MB DDR3 Standard maybe) These are not so expensive and are powerfull. The money you spare you can invest in a SSD (much faster start up) or more ram 6 or 12 would be good for your I7.
XITIJ412
Thank u ,so much for rply me, my current graphic card is quadrofx-1800 Are you sure (HD 5770 maybe) or a Nvidea Geforce gamercard( GeForce 250 GTS 1024MB DDR3 Standard) it work better than quadrofx??? AJLynn
The FX 1800 is already a good card and shouldn't be any more error prone than anything else. Are you software and driver up to date?
luckyluc
No a Quadro1800 is a good card, maybe you should download and install the newest drivers first? Good luck!
luckyluc
Andrew can write a lot faster, so you have the same answer 2 x. The driver is the thing to check.
REDVERTEX
you should upgrade to 8gb RAM ... ups, probably 6, because i7920 is triple-channel. An probably to reinstall you windows, and to install all the updates for MAX. If I was you ... the CPU will be overclocked at least to 3.
luckyluc
Is this overclocking working out for you Dimitri? Also for rendering at night for instance?

AJLynn
It's got nothing to do with OC or RAM, don't make it more complicated.

CarlAhearne
I know this is off topic, but how many times do people have to remind others not to write in CAPS on the internet, and also write full words, not txt spk. We're not children and it's nice to read correctly written type. Back on topic, Google Toms Hardware, and you can get full reviews/spec etc on all manner of hardware..
