Tommy L
I have an .avi driving the mix in a blend material. The avi is very large (8000 x 900 pixels/ 1.5G). It renders fine on my machine. However, on the farm the blend material disregards the avi and just renders one material. Is there a size limit for textures going to BB? Im using Vray, Max2010 and the latest BB. Im telling BB to send textures with the file. Any suggestions?
Devin Johnston
I had a similar problem a few years ago and there does seem to be a size limit on files although I don't know what that limit is. When you send the job out are you including maps or is this file just using UNC?
Tommy L
Including maps.
Devin Johnston
See if it will work if you don't include maps and just use the UNC, of course that would mean you have to do that for all your materials and that may take some time. Could you compress the .avi and make it smaller?

Lester_Masterson
Can you use After Effects or Premiere to output it as a series of TGA files?
Tommy L
Good thinking Lester! The avi is built in AE, so I dont know why I didnt think of that earlier. http://vimeo.com/9207787 http://vimeo.com/9207874

Tommy L
so am i but the final is some time way. i am waiting now for the AE guy to animate the graffiti mask. It will hopefully look like the graf is being painted, rather than just abruptly appearing on the wall. Any ideas for accomplishing that effect would be welcome...
