mking
I keep receiving the following message over and over when rendering: Mental Ray Log: RCFG 0.7 warn 542002: angle between normal and geometry > 90 degrees What am I doing wrong and what can I change to stop these messages? Can anyone help? See attached jpg for a screen shot. Matt: kingm997@verizon.net

Matt: kingm997@verizon.net Try to check if you have your normal maps ok this thing may also occur when you rendering with e-on vue[in v.6 I get the same error time to time] probably you will see on rendered image places with rainbow gradient in extreme cases but basically it means that normal/bump map + geometry normal in GI calculation is virtually more than 90 degrees... Usually it's not a problem but sometime it can make you serious headache
