Trees, 2d and 3d, and with different ages, who has that ?

Hi,

 

I have been trying to find a good source of tree models. Basically I need things from very low (1-3 planes) to med (~500-1500 depending on tree size) qualities. The problem I've been having is finding some place that sells real tree essences (say, green ash) of different sizes (ages) at different resolutions.

 

I don't really have time to do all this work by myself. What I am trying to achieve is a visualisation of the long term vegetation on a 25-50 year time span, and finding good models for this has been really hard to me..

 

So if anyone knows if that's available, please tell me ! We work mainly in Sketchup+Vray so I would prefer ready-made .skp components but that we can manage ourselves. If needed, it can be in another format and there's no problem with conversion. Price isn't necessarily an issue either.

Try Xfrog, google it.

Yes, I've tried XFrog but at 100000K for a single 3d tree, it's a bit over the top. It's a shame because they are really amazing. Buying it just for the billboards is maybe a bit too much

I think they have something called xfrog tune, which basically enables tou to reduce the poly count down to a level that suits. They are expensive if you just want billboards or are going to reduce the quality.
