Autocad model in sketchup texture issue

I often use Autocad to make models which I import into sketchup. I have to rescale them to them the right size in sketch up. It is a real odd scale factor I need to use. (.0032805)

After doing this the sketchup textures won't scale correctly on the model. I have to up size them by 1000x. However if I add and faces in sketchup to the model I have to make a other set of textures that match the default size. So I end up with 2 sets one from the Autocad model parts and one for the sketchup model parts.

Is there a way to fix this in the Autocad model parts so they remain sized to fit the default textures? Also why the odd scale number. I use millimeters in Autocad and metres in sketchup. So I would have thought and scale factor of (.001) would have been right.
