Guest FlaviusC
Hello there... I've been trying to get a decent night render of this bedroom...I wanted to get a warm, pleasant room...and probably a little bit sensual .It's not finished yet,but I would like some CnC. What do you like in it?what you hate in this image? Thank you very much in advance! p.s. test render, low sampling settings.
jinsley
seems to be cropped too tight... my eye goes straight to the corner of the room... maybe open it up a little and change the focal point...
abmitalia
warm and pleasant ... the bedroom ore the town? half image is town thow. If you want to warm up the bedroom work on the table light .. it hurts and personaly the pinkred light color doesn't worm me up that much. Nice material on the cloth .... Jonathan Sanchez
I like it... pherhaps just a little more lighting...if you wanna sensualize things, candles always help!
abmitalia
Yes Jonathan .. I ike it too allover but how you did agree with me a different lightning and a bit different camera angle could help a lot in giving a special smooth atmosphere. Guest FlaviusC
Hello there..some updates (no photoshop yet) (stronger contrast ? ) another angle I have tweaked the lightning a little bit and I've put some candles around..What do you think? I would render this at high quality and put it in my folio.. Edited February 23, 2010 by FlaviusC
abmitalia
much much better - Finaly I can anticipate Jonathan saying you that with some AOpath it would even come better ups and a little less bump on the floor .. like it RK
Guest FlaviusC
Thank you Ralf. Yes,I am going to add some subtle AO in Photoshop...maybe a little bit of glow around candles.etc...
TSuess
Yeah Looks great. I do agree with Tinsley the image is rather tightly cropped. Unless that's the look you're going for. maybe a wider lens?.. Are you using Vray?
Guest FlaviusC
Yes,I am using V-ray.. All my images so far are made with quite wider lens..I wanted something different this time, that's why I have this cropped-like renders. Thank you for the replies guys! wasteland giant
the mysterious lumpy things on the floor throw me off. (the stronger contrast one is not better). wood flooring, the grooves seem a bit deep. I'd bring back the skyline through the glass. and render a reflection pass as the glass doesn't seem to reflect enough considering the nighttime nature of the shot. Guest FlaviusC
Hello there..I'm back to this image..I've been heavily criticized by an interior designer for my last images with this night shot bedroom( although..i did like them ) and I've come up with this... And I think it's the final image..What do you think Thank you very much, Flavius Later edit: WEIRD! in windows and photoshop the image is a bit brighter, compared to when I see it in Firefox ...:| Edited April 14, 2010 by FlaviusC
CJI
That bed spread is fantastic. How did you get it to look so baubled? love it! Gold Star
Guest FlaviusC
You mean the texture? I've used v-ray displacement-dent map...
CJI
At the moment i think it looks like a wooly style blanket thats been washed lots. I don't know if thats what you meant it to look like but i prefer this to the usual silk covers that tend to be favoured. Great stuff.
Vixerunt
Very good work, I especially like the progress you've made. Only thing I don't like is the extremely bright long lamp behind the bed inside the wall (no idea if that got something like an official name). And what about some deco on the wall?
