PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm rendering a large (but basic) scene, I've tried a lot of different things but I keep running out of memory (even though I have 8 gig of ram) I'm guessing this is because although my OS is 64 bit rhino/vray isnt.

I've read online to render to a .vrimg file to save memory, but my memory use is almost at the same level. Do I need to turn the frame buffer off? And how do I do this in Rhino? I've found clear instructions for Max but the roll out is different in vray for rhino.

Thanks

first, try without the buffer. indeed, the buffer gives sometimes crashes when large renders. simply render from max.

if switching off the buffer does not help, then the the vrimg solution. there are several tips about it in this very site.

edit, ooops, I do not know rhino
