Matthew Waychoff
now that we can apply materials directly to object components inside ADT lets open a forum to discuss all the issues involved with getting said model linked properly into VIZrender and eventually MAX5_x thanks matthew
Alex Ryan Rubio
i agree. with so much features to deal with, i think, an active forum on ADT 2004 would surely ease the steep learning curve involved.
STRAT
yeah. ADT is quite different to standard Acad. i use it and i know a fair proportion of members use it. maybe a separate ADT forum should be set up
William Alexander
All sounds good. But why not group all the possibilities into for exapmle "AutoDesk Visualazation". The simularities, Viz and the Viz rendering in ADT2004, connectivity issues with AutoCad, and techniques, seem to be unique into a groupnig. It's not drafting, gaming and or effects. It seems to be architectural workflow and visualaztion combined around one companies suite of software. Not mention I think the future of Viz maybe ultimately in ADT. It's a watered down version of 3dmax, however very powerful, used primarily by the Architecture comminity. If I was steering Autodesks developement program, and I'm not, the costs of mutliple products to the primary market segment that will eventually use both - what would you do? I'd Consolidate at some time, would'nt you. IMHO rgrds WDA
