mondex
Dear friends, I'm configuring a 3DS Max 2009 at a clients, in the Customize User Interface window, and I can't seem to find the proper term used in Max for when you unselect your manipulating tools (move, scale and rotate). I like to use numPads 1 for select and move, 2 for scale, 3 for rotate and 0 to unselect these tools. Could someone kindly help me and tell me what is the proper terminology for this "deselect manipulating tools" action? I tried to find out in the "tools" category under "Main UI" group, but can't seem to recognize what I'm looking for. Many thanks for your assistance! Koper
to get out of manipulation mode you either have to de-select the objects or go to another mode. to deselect press- ctrl + D or to go to another mode press- Q press these short cuts in the customize ui to find their corresponding commands g'luck
