i been wanting to learn more about this and came across this presentation , i am just wondering how they did all the furniture part and the finishes happening ...if anyone can help me out , then i will be grateful

or which exactly part of the presentation dont you understand? - I think they used beside marker tracking also something more sofisticated for images(materials) recognition (could be openCV libraries exactly )

Yeah openCV seem as option cause it can handle images very well and also it has serious speed.. google/youtube for openCV and ball tracking..

i can understand how they projected the 3d .... actually coming to think about it ... all they did was run an animation on the marker , and the material changes was also different markers .... any idea what softwares they might have used?

did you check first link what i wrote? - http://forums.cgarchitect.com/39985-vr-ar.html - i named there few of posibilities, ( and also linceoVR is suitable for this)

 

but maybe they build the solution from the ground /c++,python etc.....with opencv, artoolkit libraries or other image tracking solutions/

Are you talking abt the vid and the compositing the 3d house on the wheel and the animation of the accessories???

i think also sketchup with plugin has this AR option for presentation

yes but AR in sketchup doesnot have the animation capability i suppose
