danb4026
Whenever I use the vray scene converter to convert materials to vray materials, it automatically unlocks highlight glossiness and sets it to .466. Is there a reason for this? Is it supposed to do that?
Ricardo Eloy
It translates the current materials (and their settings) to VRay terms. So, yes, it's supposed to do that. ;-)
gfa2
This does a nice job, been using it for quite awhile. http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/vraymtlconverter-v2-
danb4026
Thanks guys. Will the script work with SP4a? No reason to try a script if what Vray's converter is doing what is supposed to do.
aristocratic3d
And also please not that you have to check the "trace reflection" option under the option tab. otherwise reflection will not work.
