I went to the Max 6 Evolve tour yesterday and I have to say Max 6 just looks amazing :D

 

One of the new features that will really speed up modeling is the new shell modifier. I think it's finally a decent solution to filleting edges with a set radius. It will also be a good alternative to lofting shapes in some situations which I know a lot of people have problems with.

 

The new reactor dummy is funny as hell! You can throw them off buildings, hit them with cannon balls etc all in realtime... very stress relieving ;)

 

Mental Ray looks awesome and seemed to render not too slowly with quite high settings but it was using photon mapping. £995 for an extra single processor license tho LOL :gebigeek:

 

Can't wait to get my hands on it!
