Some Objects are dark while rendering

Dear Friends,

I have started off living room interior scene..

and I rendered and some of my main objects (books, flowervase, cd & Dvd player) become black...

 

pls help me out friends... Thanx as advance..

Did u try it with flip normals on those objects?

It might non compatible materials on those objects. Make sure the materials are supported by the render engine you are using.

@Abmitalia: friend, I am begineer, I cudn't understand what is the flipnormals..

since the materials are the cause. in this case the flip normals would not help. there are cases when you see through your surface...or the object looks inside out. that is when you would select your polygons and flip them.
