PDPlayer for final compositing?

I've been using Chaos Group's PDplayer for my final compositing. I've used Combustion in the past but i think it's a overkill for basic architectural animations. Does anyone else use PDPlayer? The price difference is reason alone to go with PDplayer.

Wim,

PDplayer has been more then enough for us. But we are not an animation studio by any means. We typically do not have more than 5 composited layers and we have not rendered out frames higher than 720x1080. But PDplayer cannot do it all alone. We found a relatively cheap workflow.

We use PDplayer for compostiting and we output each individual frame.

We then use Quicktime Pro to compile the frames creating 1 animation file per camera pass.

We then use Corel Video Studio for the video editing and compressing.

Like I said, we find ourselves doing 1 animation per year so there proabaly are cheaper more streamlined workflows. But this is the one that we got to work for us. Each application is intuitive and cheap.
