Eric Sosa Posted March 23, 2010 Share Posted March 23, 2010 (edited) hello everyone, max 2009, viewport = open GL, vray sp2, win 7 64bit, pentium i7, 8gb ram. after I have merged objects, max crashes when trying to pan the top view & sometimes any view. have installed max 2009 twice but I can't get rid of the problem. any idea how to fix the problem? ....it's driving me crazy thx in advance. BETA Posted March 23, 2010 Share Posted March 23, 2010 because you use the worst version of 3ds max ........ i have the same problem man but not just when i use mareging process... when i lest the program for three or four minutes with out any move or rotate etc... it is make exception and run out ..not just those problem i have many problem... have fun... abmitalia Posted March 24, 2010 Share Posted March 24, 2010 Well u havent told us how many vertex u have in scene - but Beta is right there, its the 2009 version that loves to behave like that - I resolve it by setting the viewport properties to one view only and coming hard I put display box, that helps.
