hello everyone,

max 2009, viewport = open GL, vray sp2, win 7 64bit, pentium i7, 8gb ram. after I have merged objects, max crashes when trying to pan the top view & sometimes any view. have installed max 2009 twice but I can't get rid of the problem.

any idea how to fix the problem? ....it's driving me crazy

thx in advance.

Well u havent told us how many vertex u have in scene - but Beta is right there, its the 2009 version that loves to behave like that - I resolve it by setting the viewport properties to one view only and coming hard I put display box, that helps. RK
