manojglobal
Revit supports import of 3D models in the SKP format. So you can use 3D models in sketchup 3D Warehouse in your Revit projects. Revit 9.x supports the SketchUp 5 format. Thanks Manoj Singh
Dave Buckley
hmm kind of . . . revit 9 is old, like back when it was still called revit building right? Sketchup 5 is also old. where are we at now? revit 9 revit 2008 revit 2009 revit 2010 and now revit 2011 and sketchup is similar sketchup 5 sketchup 6 sketchup 7 sketchup 7.1 - i've missed some in this list. anyway besides the point, but you can't just utilise google warehouse models in revit hoping they will appear as they do in the warehouse. in order to get the .skp file into revit, you need to import it into a mass family. the .skp to revit workflow is usually only used for concept modelling and massing if i remember rightly. forgive me if i'm wrong
