Greg Law
Will Vray work in Max 2011 design? I'm about to download it.
Dave Buckley
should do as one of the selling points is that plugins that worked with 2010 do not need recompiling for 2011. when you install just make sure you point the installation to the 2011 folders
Devin Johnston
I was reading a thread yesterday on the Chaos forum about this, some people were having issues but Vlado said it should work until they are able to recompile Vray. He said that the recompile should be available by the end of the month.
BrianKitts
It does work.... just use the installer for 2010. When it says you need to uninstall the existing version for 2010, say ok, but then quickly click cancel when it starts to uninstall. Then continue installing for 2011 other known issues they are fixing mentionedin the thread devin mentioned are the vray lights working in the viewport and the spawners not working for DR (fix posted on the chaosgroup forum already)
Koper
but then quickly click cancel when it starts to uninstall. Then continue installing for 2011 Brian, you must have quick fingers. every time it goes so quick and miss the cancel button, actually can't even see the cancel button until its too late:( are you installing as a remote license?
