Many of you have probably seen this already but I just ran across this little gem now. It's a terrific short done by a couple of 3D artists with no budjet whatsoever. Almost as entertaining as the short film itself is the making of video and the info on their website that tracks their progess over the last two 3 years of doing this, which was done completely in their spare time.

Its nice, but I dont know, seems like there's something missing. Massive achievement for such a small operation (two people in their spare time) but I just feel it came across as a technical exercise. I could also do with seeing the little girls knickers a bit less at the beginning, but thats a different conversation.

Nice piece of work but I personally think that little girl is doing too much mess her way trough environment.. It feels disturbing for me.

The environment was amazing but the girl seemed to be too curious which made her active in a way that wasn't believable. Technically it was beautiful and I'm stunned that two guys did that but the girl just didn't sit well with me.

If you watch the making of video they explain that it started out as exactly that... a 20 second technical exercise, and then it ballooned from there. I'm impressed mainly because of what the two of them were able to achieve. I can't count how many times I've wanted to do something ambitios like this but life always gets in the way. Agreed about the knickers. They are French ya know.

I have three kids and I can tell you from 13 years of personal experience that they do in fact make much mess in whatever environment they are in. Especially if they were able to run wild in their grandparents abandoned barn.

Again... am I the only one who has kids? The wild curiosity were totally believable... at least for me.
