cmrhm
Hi, all I just finished a site plan rendering. Generally it is much better than I thought. But the grass pattern is really bothering. Since I modeled it in autocad, I wonder if this related to modeling issue? Or I need to revise the Vray settings? Suggestions pls. The weather in chicago is wonerful, it make me happy. I can try any suggestions.
BrianKitts
looks like a modeling issue. Try putting either a subdivide modifier on the object or a smooth modifier (or both) and see if it goes away.

It just some plines, then extruded. I will try to put those two modifiers in 3dmax to see what happened.
acjwalker
try just union the mesh in autocad and render it see if it makes a difference.
Gus_Rayvus
The square pattern makes me think it is a rendering issue. Are you distributing it? If so, it looks like a machine is dropping the maps.

cmrhm
try just union the mesh in autocad and render it see if it makes a difference. I am thinking just import pline into 3dmax then put extrude modifier there. that would be 3dmax objects, hope it solve the square pattern. It works after trying my ideas. Thanks folks.
