Anyone ever use models from FORMFONTS?

Rather than building one myself, I have been searching for a model of a LifeFitness Cable Motion 8 Stack piece of workout equipment.

 

The only resource that has this model is a site called Formfonts. They require a $199 annual subscription to access their 3d library.

 

Has anyone had any experience with them?

Yes we have a company account with them, I use it mostly for entourage and small scene elements. The quality used to be really bad, everything was super lo-poly. But lately most of the new content is getting nicely detailed.

Thanks Brian, right now I only need the workout station, which would be a pain to model. I need to justify spending the bucks by convincing myself that there will many other uses for the subscription.

 

There is no way of downloading anything to determine the quality prior to commiting to the subscription.

We had an office subscription for a year. Most of it is fairly low poly but not bad stuff at its price point. I would recommend it. I think that they have monthy subscriptions too.

No, they only have annual subscriptions, that's why I am hesitant.

We had a subscription for a year as well too. I used it for entourage and some specific vendor's models... download a few things that you'd have to model yourself and you've paid for the subscription in time saved. I need to talk to the boss man about re-upping our subscription... I've needed a few things for entourage recently that they have. Not always top of the line quality, and a little retexturing work is needed sometimes, it's but good enough and has saved me time overall.
