braddewald
So I am trying to put an hdri map in the reflection environment override slot. When the scene renders (with a mirror in the middle of the scene), the reflection looks like it is of a zoomed in area of about 2% of the size of the full hdri map. I want to catch a lot more of the hdri map in the reflection. Is there a way to adjust the size/tiling of the hdri map?
lee81070
You could try dragging the map into a slot in the material editor (making it an instance) and play around with the tiling & width and height options until you get the desired effect..... braddewald
There aren't any options for size or tiling in the material editor for HDRIs (I already have it instanced into the material editor)

lee81070
This forum is only for vray ! Well, I came to it from the unread messages page and missed the sub-board where the post was... Brad, have you changed the mapping from screen to cylindrical or shrink-wrap? If you do that then increase the tiling, you should see more of the image. If you still have problems, drag the instance from the material editor to the override slot, as it may not update properly.
