lzcristian
Hy, I'm using AutoCAD Architecture 2011 for the first time and I have a problem. How can I see a window that is positioned on the wall higher than standard horizontal section line. For example, a 400x800mm window, situated at a height of 1600mm, is not seen in the floor plan, just in 3d. What can I do because I want to see it when I print that floor plan. Thanks! MegaPixel
You will need to adjust the "Cut Plane" height for the view to see anything above it. I think by default, it's set to 3'-6". This is the quick way of doing it. The other way to do it is to adjust the window's "Display Properties" and toggle on the display of all layers above the Cut Plane that you wish to see. Hope that helps - Dave
lzcristian
Thanks, it was very helpful. I tried the second option and it worked. Finally I can continue the project.
