exxoo
Hi I recently did a project, a hospital, and it all was done in a hurry. I had a ground mesh that was ~800x650 meters. It originally came from autocad, generated from hight curves. That mesh looked terrible so i placed a big mesh over it and used conform and it worked ok. But after spending some time and needing more and more details in some area the mesh started to be really slow. Its fast to move around in the scene but moving a vertex took minutes. the pink objects are grass meshes, i used conform to match them to the ground and then collapsed it to ed poly. Now.. how do you do this the right way? I have used google some but every landscape is done using bitmaps and i often need to be "exact" and use hight curves from drawings. Any good tutorials in your bookmarks? PS any one got at tip for getting max to draw cameras in front of the mesh? DS
