an AO pass would help this pic out, especially in the floor.... it looks like a shadowless thin piece of ice... give those ppl some shadows... and some bldgs outside the window might make the image look less like it's flying alongside that airplane.

Yeah, the floor will eventually have score lines; then I throw on some shadow streaks in post. I agree about the floating; feels like you're on the 20th story penthouse!

Ha! I think a large jet tail coming out of the side of the window will say "airport" instead of "midair".

Here's the finished rendering with some screen shots

showing lighting. Seems like more people should do this to

see how the final image was arrived at and to see people's

different approaches to lighting.
