anyway to do such simulation quicker and accurate?

Hi, guys:

 

I am taking ARE site planning test soon. Here I encountered a question regarding the water drainage issue on a slope. Many of us want to see if I can run a simple simulation to see how the water really drained from higher contour to the lower.

 

Pls see the attached. I don't need to have beautiful rendering but I need the water can come down the hill by gravity. Any quick and accurate way to do it?

 

It seems I need to use particle flow. or some plugings like blender. Any tutorials?

Don't need a computer to do this. Water runs 90 degrees to the contours. You can pick an point and draw lines from there to perpendicular to the next lower contour. Repeat until you get to the bottom. That is the path that that drop of watter will take.
