Karlfucious
I did this scene for practice since I haven't done anything in a while. Rendered in Maya/Mental Ray. Crits are much appreciated. ilyass
the rug seems kinda flat and also you could add some lighting next to the doors on both floors, thats what i think, overall its a nice scene
Matt McDonald
The leather on the couch looks either too reflective or like the relections are too glossy. Also, the feet on the couch are completely white...even if they are supposed to be white they are a little intense. Why not have some fun with the light? Its a nice model, nicely rendered and composed but with the subject matter being soooo neutral a bit of a "color of light" experiment might be a lot of fun. wasteland giant
The lighting is a bit basic = image looks flat. a) correct the vertical b) add a person (maybe in post) to bring in scale c) level the image to make it punchier d) fix the material so its not all lamberty d) downlights should be lit e) couches are floating?
