jamesB
I can't seem to import FBX or DWG files larger than 10 MB files. When i import or link I just get a blank view as if i haven't imported anything. Smaller files do import though. Could this be a bug?
jamesB
Turning off RPC in the other applications before export seems to solve the problem.
gradjinko
I have a problem. Using AutoCAD Architecture 2011 and 3ds Max Design 2011, when I want to import dwg file to 3ds max, my whole building is black. He recognizes layers but the whole building completely black. Can anyone help me and tell me what the problem is. Thanks in advance.
postite
> Marko Perhaps it's a normal problem. You can try to convert the mesh in poly edit, select all poly and use the "turn" function.
neil poppleton
First thing to check is make sure the Autocad model is near 0,0,0 co-ordinates in world space.

I figured it out For those who are interested in the answer, when you import file, at import option, Geometry choose from the list Layer, Blocks as Node Hierarchy. This is the key. Then another problem I had, the image was deformed with thick lines, the solution is at import options, Spline rendering, Thickness 0,0.
